Developmental piano/therapeutic drum
It uses sound, rhythm, and vibration to help coordinate your hands, posture, concentration, and senses.
INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT
We carefully examine the person's strengths and difficulties, and work with them to consider support that is appropriate for the person.
ABOUT THIS SUPPORT
In Individual Developmental Support, the child and staff calmly interact with each other and work in accordance with the goals of the individual support plan. Rather than applying fixed methods such as developmental piano, speech rhythm, therapeutic drums, therapeutic English, and individual learning support, we combine them based on interests, sensory characteristics, easy-to-understand ways of communicating, and the situation of the day. We value the flow of practicing individually on the issues found in Group Developmental Support and using the confidence gained individually in the group.
WHO IT IS FOR
We do not decide the content of support based solely on the diagnosis name or characteristics. During the facility visit and trial session, we will listen to your child's condition and your family's wishes, and provide information on how to use the facility.
ACTIVITIES
The activity is an example. We will adjust the content and process according to the individual support plan and the situation on the day.
It uses sound, rhythm, and vibration to help coordinate your hands, posture, concentration, and senses.
Using melody and rhythm as cues, we foster the joy of producing voices and words.
Through songs and interactions, children gain experience in listening, imitating, and communicating.
We choose easy-to-understand procedures and teaching materials to support thinking skills and confidence in learning.
SUPPORT GOALS
We value being able to work with peace of mind without rushing to achieve results, and that it leads to experiences that can be used in daily life.
Look for ways to convey information that are easy to understand, such as visual cues, sounds, movements, and words.
Divide the task into appropriate sizes and move on to the next step while sharing what you accomplished with the person.
We aim to develop skills that can be used at home, at school, and in group activities, rather than being completed only in individual settings.
HOW WE SUPPORT
We will ask you about the situations in your life that you are having trouble with, what you are good at, and what you want to achieve.
Adjust activities, time, materials, encouragement, and break methods to match your goals.
We will record the progress of our efforts and review our support while sharing them with families and staff.
