Exploring the keyboard and sounds
Start by finding your favorite sound, and enjoy the cause-and-effect relationships and differences in sounds that occur when you press a button.
DEVELOPMENTAL PIANO
Our goal is not just to improve your performance, but also to connect the joy of playing the keyboard to support your child's development.
ABOUT THIS SUPPORT
Developmental piano lessons have a different purpose than regular piano lessons. The goal is not just to play a song well, but to create multiple experiences that match the child's developmental stage, such as looking at the keyboard, listening to the sounds, moving the fingers, maintaining posture, and predicting the next movement. Start with a favorite sound or short phrase and review small successes together.
WHO IT IS FOR
We do not decide the content of support based solely on the diagnosis name or characteristics. During the facility visit and trial session, we will listen to your child's condition and your family's wishes, and provide information on how to use the facility.
ACTIVITIES
The activity is an example. We will adjust the content and process according to the individual support plan and the situation on the day.
Start by finding your favorite sound, and enjoy the cause-and-effect relationships and differences in sounds that occur when you press a button.
Create an experience of watching, listening, and waiting by imitating the sounds of staff and taking turns one by one.
You can also use bells and small instruments to practice moving your hands and fingers in time with the beat and rhythm.
We look back together at the sounds we achieved and the time we continued, supporting our motivation to take on the next challenge.
SUPPORT GOALS
We value being able to work with peace of mind without rushing to achieve results, and that it leads to experiences that can be used in daily life.
Through the movement of the hands and posture on the keyboard, children will experience fine movements and coordination of the entire body.
Start with short tasks that have a beginning and end, and gradually expand your attention span.
We value the experience of choosing the sounds and instruments you want to play and deciding on your own.
HOW WE SUPPORT
Think about the sounds you like, the sounds you don't like, and how you should approach them by looking at your hands and posture.
We will break it down into easy-to-achieve units, such as one note, one hand, and short rhythms.
Link activities to the goals of the individual support plan, such as focus, order, and change of mind.
