AFTER-SCHOOL DAY SERVICE
After school and during long vacations, we support children' daily lives, learning, and relationships with others through music.
ABOUT THIS SUPPORT
After-school Day Services are welfare services for children who are attending school from the time they enter elementary school until the age of 18. At Music Therapy Doremi, we provide Group Developmental Support and Individual Developmental Support centered around music after school and during long vacations. We combine the feeling of working hard at school with time to enjoy favorite activities, experience interacting with peers, and time working on life and academic challenges.
WHO IT IS FOR
We do not decide the content of support based solely on the diagnosis name or characteristics. During the facility visit and trial session, we will listen to your child's condition and your family's wishes, and provide information on how to use the facility.
ACTIVITIES
The activity is an example. We will adjust the content and process according to the individual support plan and the situation on the day.
Children will experience roles, rules, cooperation, and self-expression through rhythmic music, SST music, ensemble, etc.
We work individually on concentration, hands, speech, senses, learning, etc., depending on your interests and support goals.
We support activities related to daily life and school life, such as preparation, cleaning up, and homework.
We will consider activities that take advantage of longer time than usual, depending on the season and usage conditions.
SUPPORT GOALS
We value being able to work with peace of mind without rushing to achieve results, and that it leads to experiences that can be used in daily life.
We will help you change your mind from school and create an environment and relationship where you can be yourself.
In small groups, children gain experience in consulting, refusing, waiting, and cooperating.
Increase the things you are good at and experience successes, which will lead to the ability to choose and work on your own.
HOW WE SUPPORT
We will ask you about your grade level, current situation at school, desired day of the week, pick-up area, etc., and provide you with instructions on how to use the service.
We will consider individual support plans and activities on the day of use based on the wishes of the person and their family.
We will review our support while sharing information about our activities and listening to changes at school and at home.
